So items that are sensitive to heat and cold, or quick variations in temperature are not good candidates for garage storage. It’s also a good idea to protect stored items in plastic bins to shelter them from the dust and dirt that commonly finds its way into garages.
Using the extra space in your garage for overhead storage is a great way to get some items out of your house, and save money by not needing to rent space off-site for these items. Even if you are using overhead storage to get items off the floor of the garage, you are still making things more convenient for yourself.
